You may use GemMate only if you:

• Are 16 years of age or older
• Agree to comply with these Terms
• Use the app for lawful and intended purposes

You are solely responsible for any activity under your account.

• Registration may be required to access some features.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

GemMate includes:

• Daily mood tracking on a 1-5 scale (manual input only)
• Social interaction goal setting and progress tracking (Premium and Family plans)
• Personalized nudges and wellness content based on mood patterns
• Emergency contact escalation when social goals are missed for two consecutive weeks
• Daily wellness content including insights, articles, and mental health guidance

We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

• You are responsible for applicable taxes and fees.
• Subscription details (renewals, cancellations) are shown at checkout.

You agree not to:

• Disrupt or misuse the app or its services
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the app
• Use the app to promote unauthorized commercial or competing services

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

• All app content—including AI responses, code, branding, and interface—belongs to GemMate or its licensors.
• You may not reproduce or reuse content without written permission.

• GemMate may use third-party services including Supabase, Twilio, Apple App Store, Google Play, and wellness content APIs.
• We do not control or endorse the third-party services, their content, or offerings.
• You engage with them at your own discretion and risk.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantees regarding:

• Accuracy or reliability of information
• Availability or uninterrupted service
• Suitability of recommendations for your specific situation

Use is at your own risk.

GemMate is designed to assist with mental wellness tracking but is not a substitute for licensed mental health professionals. By using the app, you agree that

• The app's responses, insights, and content are for general informational purposes only
• You will not rely solely on the app for mental health diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention
• You are responsible for consulting qualified healthcare professionals for any mental health concerns or emergencies

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GemMate, its employees, affiliates, and partners against any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your reliance on app-generated data or responses
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GemMate is not liable for:

• Indirect or incidental damages
• Loss or damage resulting from your reliance on information, insights, or content provided through the App
• Business losses, property damage, or personal injury
• Any consequence of relying on the app's outputs or suggestions

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the app.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
• Termination includes revocation of rights to access or use the app.

• If you submit feedback or feature suggestions, you grant GemMate a perpetual, royalty-free right to use and implement them.
• We are not obligated to compensate you or maintain confidentiality.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GemMate operates.
• Any disputes must be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the applicable jurisdiction.
